i haven't updated this in a loooong while BUT in the wake of a desire to get out off corporate social media dopamine hijack nightmare i figured i'd use this as a place to post whenever i update my site with a blog or whatever.
i already have an rss feed set up on my main site but i know a lot of people prefer the way neocities works + i want to start following people on here so here we are
i don't link to this site anywhere and i don't expect for it to ever be anything more than a hub for main site updates and a way for me to interact with neocities ppl more often
in case you're curious, the only reason i haven't been using neocities up till now is that i wanted something i could completely set up to work through github and couldn't figure out how to do that with neocities lmao. in case it isn't obvious, i am not a web developer, or a developer of any kind beyond hobbyist gamedev stuff
my main site is being hosted via nixihost using a standard cpanel backend with github integration, it uses 11ty as a static site generator using markdown and template files! the RSS feed is handwritten
this neocities site is handwritten using the built in text editor and all updates are done manually
10-08-24: new about page, gear listings, stylesheet updates
10-03-24: site refresh, rss feed launched
